Alloyed Aluminum-Silicon Coated Steel

Alloyed Aluminum-Silicon Coated Steel is a high-performance coated steel material developed based on cold-forming low carbon steel substrate. The product adopts advanced continuous hot-dipplating technology, with a premium aluminum-silicon alloy coating uniformly plated on the surface of the steel substrate.
Different from conventional aluminum-silicon coated steel, this product is processed with a professional post-plating thermal diffusion annealing treatment. Through standardized and precise thermal processing and controlled cooling technology, a dense, continuous and uniform iron-aluminum-silicon intermetallic alloy transition layer is formed between the steel base and the outer aluminum-silicon eutectic coating.
This unique composite structure effectively optimizes the bonding performance between the substrate and the coating, significantly improves the overall stability, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance of the steel material, and endows the product with more reliable forming performance and service life, making it suitable for high-standard industrial application scenarios.

    Use

    • Features a standard 90Al-10Si coating processed via dedicated thermal diffusion treatment. A continuous Fe-Al-Si alloy interlayer develops between the steel substrate and outer aluminium-rich coating, delivering consistent chemical composition and low impurity levels.

    • Boasts excellent resistance to high-temperature oxidation and thermal cycling. It withstands prolonged high-temperature service and short peak temperature exposure without coating cracking, blistering or delamination.

    • Forms strong metallurgical adhesion with the steel substrate, providing outstanding bending and deep drawability. The coating remains intact without peeling during complex stamping processes.

    • Is compatible with all mainstream welding methods, minimising welding spatter, defects and electrode abrasion. Direct welding is achievable without full pre-stripping of the coating, ensuring consistent mechanical strength of welded joints.

    • Exhibits excellent infrared radiation performance after prolonged high-temperature oxidationheating equipment components.
